Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) earned their first point in the ongoing PM Cup, thrashing Sudurpaschim Province by mammoth 169 runs. Army wrapped up Sudurpaschim for mere 113 runs after posting 282 runs in the first inning.
Opting to bat first at TU Cricket Ground, Army ended 50 overs in 282/8 after a half-century from Arjun Saud and skipper Rohit Paudel. Arjun scored run a ball 73 while Rohit made 52. Kushal Malla slammed 43 at the end with five sixes. Gajendra Bohara, Hemant Dhami, and Narayan Joshi picked up two wickets each for Sudurpaschim.
In reply, Raju Rijal’s side were folded up for 113 in 29.4 overs. Jitendra Mukhiya was the pick of a bowler, taking three wickets. Bikram Sob and Shahab Alam also pocketed two wickets each. For Sudurpaschim, Basant Khatri top-scored with 25 runs. Similarly, Narayan Joshi and Gajendra Bhandari also took a pair of scalps each.
Both Army and Sudurpaschim were outplayed by APF in the first match.
