Trit Raj Das’ century powers Tribhuwan Army Club to fourth consecutive victory

Tribhuwan Army Club has registered a fourth consecutive victory in the ongoing PM Cup 2025. Trit Raj Das’ brilliant century powered them to a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Koshi Province at Siddhartha Cricket Stadium.

Opting to bat first, Koshi posted a fighting total of 230 before losing all ten wickets in 49.3 overs. Suman Gahatraj’s half-century helped them cross the 200-run mark for the first time in this tournament. Koshi were 27/3 at one stage but Sujan Thapaliya and Sonu Ansari added 92 runs for the fourth wicket before Sujan departed for 42 runs. Sonu made 44 runs whereas Suman Gahatraj anchored the inning with a half-century (51).

For Army, Sompal Kami was the pick of a bowler grabbing four wickets (8-0-37-4). Shahab Alam and Aakash Chand also grabbed a couple of wickets.

In reply, Army Club chased the total in 47.1 overs losing only three wickets. Trit Raj Das was the star of the chase with a brilliant century. He made an unbeaten 112 runs in 134 deliveries with the help of 14 fours and one six. Trit also became the fourth batter from the Tribhuwan Army Club to score a century in the PM Cup. Similarly, Basir Ahamad supported him well with a half-century. Basir scored 61* from 62 balls.

Tribhuwan Army Club secured their fourth consecutive victory whereas Koshi Province is yet to secure a win after four games.
