The Prime Minister (PM) Cup 2025 concluded on March 29, with Nepal Police Club (NPC) emerging as the champions. Having also won the title in 2024, NPC became the first team to successfully defend their title. This marks their fourth PM Cup victory, making them the most successful team in the tournament’s history.
In the final played at Siddhartha Cricket Stadium, Bhairahawa, Police defeated Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) by six wickets in a one-sided final.

Army’s young opener, Trit, showcased consistency and played a brilliant century while chasing. He amassed 365 runs at an average of 40. Although not utilized as a bowler in the tournament, he is also considered a medium-pace option for this team.
Ishan Pandey

Ishan Pandey became the third Bagmati player to score a century in PM Cup history. The left-handed batter displayed consistency throughout the tournament, accumulating 363 runs at an average of 40. He is also considered an off-break bowling option for the team.
Kiran Thagunna

Kiran Thagunna struck two centuries in the tournament, becoming only the third batter to achieve this feat. The aggressive middle-order batter from Sudurpaschim had an impressive campaign, maintaining a strong strike rate of 106.64.

Basir Ahamad maintained consistency throughout the tournament, scoring 338 runs, including three half-centuries, at an impressive average of 56.33. He also contributed with the ball, picking up six wickets.
Dipendra Singh Airee (c)

DS Airee, who guided NPC to back-to-back titles, will captain Cricnepal’s team. With the bat, he showcased consistency, scoring four half-centuries and accumulating 308 runs at an impressive strike rate of 126.22. As an off-break bowler, he also made an impact, claiming seven wickets.
Dipendra Rawat

Dipendra Rawat had a remarkable tournament, excelling with both bat and ball. He scored 177 runs, including two half-centuries, and took 22 wickets. Notably, he claimed a seven-wicket haul in a single match, becoming only the third bowler in the tournament’s history to achieve this feat.
Rijan Dhakal

Rijan Dhakal emerged as the tournament’s third-highest wicket-taker and the leading pacer. The left-arm quick claimed 23 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls. He also contributed with the bat in need.
Shahab Alam

Shahab Alam took 31 wickets in 10 matches, maintaining an impressive bowling average of 11.12. The Army’s left-arm spinner remained consistent throughout the domestic tournament once again.
Lalit Rajbanshi

Lalit Rajbanshi was named both the best bowler and the player of the tournament. Dominating throughout, Lalit took five five-wicket hauls and finished with a record 41 wickets, the most in a single edition of the tournament. He maintained an impressive average and economy rate, making him nearly unplayable.
