Nepal U19 Women’s Team earns spot in ACC U19 Asia Cup after World Cup qualification

The Nepal U19 Women’s team, who secured a place in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 by topping the Asia Qualifier, has also qualified for the inaugural Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s U19 Asia Cup.

In their final group stage match, Nepal achieved an impressive eight-wicket comeback victory over the UAE to secure World Cup qualification. This performance has also earned Nepal a spot in the first-ever Women’s U19 Asia Cup, where six teams will compete.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) took on Social Media handle to post about the tournament details and fixtures. Nepal is in Group A along side India and Pakistan. The host Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are in Group B.

The tournament will be played from December 15 to December 22 in Bayuemas Cricket Oval, Malaysia. Nepal will play against on 16th December and against India on 17th December.

The Nepalese senior team also competed in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024.
