Nepal Police Club continued their dominant run in the tournament, securing their fourth consecutive victory with a commanding 193-run win over Madhesh Province. With a massive win, Police climbs at the top of the table.
After winning the toss, Police Club elected to bat first and posted a formidable total of 288 runs in 49.5 overs. Opener Arjun Saud laid a solid foundation with 47 runs while Dilip Nath contributed 45. However, the standout performance came from captain Dipendra Singh Airee, who played a blistering knock of 63 off just 36 balls, striking five fours and four sixes. Aarif Sheikh also made a significant contribution, scoring 55 off 54 balls. Contributions from Shankar Rana (27) and Rashid Khan (14) propelled Nepal Police Club to a competitive total.
Rupesh Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Madhesh Province, claiming 4 wickets, while Bishal Patel took 3 wickets.
Chasing 289, Madhesh Province struggled against a disciplined bowling attack and were bundled out for a mere 95 runs in 26.1 overs. Dipesh Das was the only batter to put up some resistance, scoring 31 runs. No other batter were able to do anything special.
Lalit Rajbanshi was the star with the ball, taking five crucial wickets, while Kushal Bhurtel chipped in with two wickets. Rajbanshi has already bagged 15 wickets from four matches.
