Melbourne – Nepalese leg-spinner and former Melbourne Stars player, Sandeep Lamichhane is most likely to get picked for Hobart Hurricanes for this season of Big Bash League.
The Hobart-based BBL franchise has two international roster spots for this season and they are likely to announce later this week.
As per the Daily Mail Australia report, Lamichhane is set for Hobart-bound from Melbourne Stars.
Lamichhane had played 13 games for Stars in BBL|09 and took 15 wickets with an economy of 7.44. His best bowling was 3 for 26. Overall, he had a good outing with the club playing 20 games and taking 26 scalps.
In 2020, Sandeep was picked by Jamaica Tallawahs to play in the Caribbean Premier League and grabbed 12 wickets in 10 games. However, he didn’t get a chance to play any game in the recently concluded Indian Premier League for Delhi Capitals.
BBL|10 is scheduled to start from 10 December.
