Sandeep Lamichhane overcomes expensive start to deliver key wickets for Vancouver

Sandeep Lamichhane has ended with a good bowling figure in Vancouver Knight’s second match in the Global T20 League Canada. He produced a figure of 4-0-32-2 against Bangla Tigers Mississauga. 

Lamichhane was very expensive in his first over. Bowling the first over after the end of the powerplay, Lamichhane went for 18 runs conceding two sixes and one four.

He then got the ball in the 11th over and gave away just two runs, dismissing Shakib Al Hasan.

His next over also produced a wicket of David Wiese and conceded only three runs.

The Leggie conceded nine runs in his last over and ended with a good figure of 4-0-32-2. Lamichhane who went for 18 in his first, came back really well and gave away just 14 in his remaining three overs.

Vancouver decided to bowl first in the game and restricted Mississauga to 152/7.  Both Nepalese players – Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee were included in the playing XI. However, Airee didn’t get a chance to bowl.
