Paras Khadka, the former captain and one of the biggest icons of Nepal cricket, is set to play in the Legends League Cricket 2024 after being picked up by Team Gujarat in the auction.
Gujrat Team signed Paras Khadka for 12.5 Lakhs during the auction held in Delhi on Thursday. Khadka is a current secretary of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
Six teams will compete in this edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC). Paras Khadka was signed in both of the previous editions, but he didn’t participate in the first one due to personal reasons.
In 2023, Paras was the part of Asia Lions’ title winning campaign.
The third season of the tournament will begin on September 20, 2024, and will last nearly a month, ending on October 16. LLC is an exciting global T20 tournament that reunites retired cricket legends from around the world, offering fans the opportunity to watch their favorite former players display their skills once more.
At the time of writing, Team Gujarat has signed players such as Liam Plunkett, Asghar Afghan, Morne van Wyk, Lendl Simmons, and Jerome Taylor.
