Gandaki Province snatched a point from Armed Police Force (APF) club on Friday at Mulpani Cricket Ground in the ongoing PM Cup national one-day tournament. Despite bowling out mighty APF for 115 runs, Gandaki were unable to chase the total as they were bowled out for an equal total in 31 overs.
Spinner Mousom Dhakal knocked over Kamal Pariyar to rescue APF from the loss. Dhakal, adjudged as player of the match, grabbed four wickets. Kishore Mahato also picked up four, whereas Bhuwan Karki took a pair of wickets. Avishek Basnet top-scored for Gandaki with 24 runs. Arjun Kumal and Bipin Khatri contributed 18 and 17 runs respectively.
Earlier, Invited to bat first, APF were bundled out for mere 115 runs in 35.1 overs. Bhuwan Karki scored an unbeaten 24, while Puran Bk made 23. Lokesh Bam and Sundeep Jora also assisted 22 runs each. Amrit Gurung and Arjun Kumal pocketed three wickets each for Gandaki. Similarly, Subash Bhandari took two wickets.
APF and Gandaki both have five points from three matches however APF are on top with a better NRR.
