Thailand survived the relegation beating Oman by 70 runs to register their first win. Thailand scored 221/8 in 50 overs and restricted Oman to 151 all out in 46.5 overs.
Singapore lost to Bahrain in the battle at the bottom of table in Group A. Bahrain scored 258/7 in 50 overs and bowled out Singapore for 204 in 44.4 overs for a 54-run victory.
