Nepal’s legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane has signed Melbourne Stars, one of the franchises of Big Bash League in Australia for the upcoming season.
Lamichhane,18, will join the squad by December 10 before leaving to play the full season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on January 5, and then will return to Australia for the remaining of BBL games.
He will play Sylhet Sixers team in BPL.
Sandeep Lamichhane will be the first player from an Associate country to play the BBL.
