Cricnepal/Kathmadu: Nepal will open its campaign in the ACC Women´s Championship playing against Afghanistan in Thailand in the third week of January.
According to a schedule published by Asian Cricket Council (ACC), Nepal is pitted in group A along with defending champion Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Bhutan and the UAE. Group B consists Thailand, China, Singapore, Kuwait, Iran and Qatar.

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has chosen 25 female cricketers to be in the closed camp for ACC Women’s Championship .
The players selected are Rubina Chherti Belbase, Karuna Bhandari, Indu Verma, Nary Thapa, Mamata Devi Chaudhary, Sangita Gauchan, Gita Chudal, Rekha Rawal, Krishna Singh, Sarita Magar, Shilu Rijal, Mamata Thapa, Roshani Bohora, Shova Ale, Nira Rajopadhaya, Rasmi Sharma Chaulagain, Sonu Khakada, Sita Ranamagar, Madhu Thapa , Aarati Bhandari, Achali Chand, Kabita Gautam, Manisha Rawal, Janaki Bhatta and Saraswati Chaudhary.
The players are currently being trained by Coach Pudubu Dassanayeke and will later be handed to a Nepali Coach.
