International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) has issued a diffusion notice against the former Nepal national cricket team captain, Sandeep Lamichhane.
Lamichhane was accused of raping a 17 years old minor. As per the victim, the incident occurred on August 22, the day before the Nepal cricket team’s flight to Kenya. However, the police complaint was registered on September sixth.
Following an arrest warrant against the spin sensation, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) suspended him on September Eighth. Lamichhane reacted to the allegations for the first time on September ninth, taking social media, Facebook, where he said, “I am innocent and keep complete belief in the respectable law of Nepal.”

However, the 22 years old was out of contact with Nepal Police and the CAN members. On Sunday, Lamichhane again came out with an emotional status on Facebook, saying His health condition and mental health were affected, leading to isolation after the fake allegations against him.
