The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled the schedule of the Prime Minister’s (PM) Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament.

The 50-over tournament, spanning 21 days, will be held across three venues in Lumbini Province. Matches will take place at Siddhartha Rangasala, Extra Tech Oval Cricket Ground, and Lamahi Cricket Ground.

Ten teams, including seven provincial teams and three departmental teams, will compete in the tournament. The competition kicks off on March 9, with the final match set to take place on March 29 at Siddhartha Rangasala.

The tournament will feature a total of 46 matches, with ten teams competing in a single round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the final. On the opening day, Koshi will face Lumbini at Siddhartha Rangasala, Bagmati will take on APF at Extra Tech Oval, and Karnali will clash with Sudurpaschim at Lamahi Cricket Ground.

Nepal Police Club enters the tournament as the defending champion. The top four teams from the previous edition of the PM Cup secured qualification for the Jay Trophy, Nepal’s first multi-day format cricket competition.
