Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Friday announced the 18 member preliminary squad for the upcoming ACC Women’s Championship to be held in Thailand from January 21. Rubina Chhetri Belbase has been appointed as the captain.
The 18-member team includes Saraswati Chaudhary, Karuna Bhandari, Sarita Magar, Rashmi Sharma Chaulagain, Shilu Rijal, Indu Verma, Trishna Singh, Rekha Rawal, Shova Ale Magar, Mamata Thapa, Sangeeta Gauchan, Madhu Thapa, Neera Rajopadhyay, Sonu Khadka, Nary Thapa, Roshani Bohara and Sita Rana Magar.
CAN had earlier called up 25 woman cricketers for the closed camp. Aarati Bidari, Anjali Chand, Kabita Gautam, Manisha Rawal, Janaki Bhatta, Mamata Kumari Chaudhary and Geeta Chudal have been left out of the team.
