Nepal Cricket’s biggest icon and former captain, Paras Khadka, has been elected as the president of the Bagmati Provincial Cricket Association.
Paras’ entire panel emerged victorious in the election. Prem Bahadur Chhetri defeated Rupak Ranjeet to win the vice president’s post.
Prashanna Shakya and Sanjay Basnet won the post of Secretary and Treasurer, respectively. Ajay Bir Pandey, Anil Adhikari, Sanjog Pokharel, Sujan Maharjan, Dhiraj Shrestha, Shekhaar Shrestha, Basanta Raj Satyal, Anupman Shrestha and Neera Rajopadhyay were elected as the members.
One week ago, Bagmati’s member districts – Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Makwanpur pledged their support to Paras. On the other hand, Chitwan and Nuwakot declared their intent to oppose Paras.
