The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that the Nepalese team will tour Sri Lanka before the CWC League 2 Series. As part of their preparation for a crucial series in Canada, Nepal will play a three-match One Day series against Sri Lanka Development Squad.
The squad for the tour has already been announced, with Rohit Paudel set to lead the 19-player team during their week-long stay in Sri Lanka. Both Paudel and DS Airee, who were in Canada following the GT20, will also be participating in the series.
The team will have a practice session on September 2 before playing the first match on September 3. After a day of rest, Nepal will play the second and third matches on September 5 and 7, respectively.
Nepal is scheduled to tour Canada in September for the second Tri-series, where they will compete against Oman and Canada. In the opening series held on home ground in February, Nepal faced three defeats and secured only one win against Netherlands and Namibia.
