Kathmandu – Nepal will take on United Arab Emirates(UAE) today in their first warm up match of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers at ICC Global Cricket Academy 2 in Dubai.
According to the tournament schedule, Nepal will be playing their two warm matches against UAE and will take on USA tomorrow at Abu Dhabi Oval 2 respectively.
In the recent encounters against UAE, Nepal lost one by 6 wickets in ACC Twenty20 Cup 2011 held at T.U. Ground, Kathmandu while won another by 6 wickets at the same venue two years later in the semifinal.
Nepal will start their Tournament matches against Denmark on November 15 at the ICC Global Cricket Academy 2 Ground. Nepal will also take on Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Scotland, Kenya, Papua New Guinea and Bermuda. Top six teams from the 16-team Qualifiers will make it to the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.
