Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Nepal lost to Pakistan in its last league match of Blind T20 World Cup by 10 wickets, at Central College Cricket Ground, Bangalore
Winning the toss, Pakistan invited Nepal to bat first and restricted the team for 89/10 in 20 overs. Pakistan rushed to the victory in just 4.1 overs without losing a wicket.
Masod Jan and Gulab Khan guided Pakistan team victory, with 53 of 13 balls and 28 of 9 balls respectively.
Nepal’s batting could not stand the quality of Pakistan bowling or the pressure of the game, batsmen. Nepal started off steady without losing any wickets till the fifth over The team score was fifty for four in the 10th over.
The ailing running between the wickets which Nepal apparently had came over in the last match against Endland seemed to have relapsed, Nepal losing 6 batsmen as run outs as Nepal were eventually folded for just 89. Nepal ended coveted tournament with just one win in 8 matches
Nepali skipper Giri end of the game expressed appreciation to Pakistan Blind Cricket Association and added that the team had learnt a lot from the tournament and they will try to improve in the upcoming events
Pakistan on the other hand are into the semi finals of the tournament and prime title contenders.
