Kathmandu/Cricnepal: Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) on Wednesday announced the squad for the ICC World Cricket League Division 4 to be held in Malaysia from September 1 to 10.
Paras Khadka will lead the team as the skipper while Gyanendra Malla has been appointed as the vice captain. Other players who made it in the final 14 include Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Pradeep Airee, Anil Kumar Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Chandra Saud, Binod Das and Subash Khakurel.
Mahesh Chhetri, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari and Yagyaman Kumal has been kept as reserve.
Basanta Raj Satyal, member of Cricket Association of Nepal, has been nominated as team manager while Pubudu Dassanayake has been nominated as team coach for the tournament.
Nepal stayed at third position in the group table of ICC World Cricket League Division 4 in 2010 and couldn’t enter into the Division 3 of the tournament previously. The teams that will take part in the tournament are decided according to the results of 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division 3, 2011 ICC World Cricket League Division 4 and 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division 5.

Denmark (5th in 2011 ICC World Cricket League Division 3)
United States (6th in 2011 ICC World Cricket League Division 3)
Nepal (3rd in 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division 4)
Tanzania (4th in 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division 4)
Singapore (1st in 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division 5)
Malaysia (2nd in 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division 5)
