The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the names of the teams playing in the upcoming Nepal T20 League.
Biratnagar, Janakpur, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini/Bhairahawa and Far Western are the Six teams participating in the T20 League which will be organised in September-October.
According to CAN Acting Secretary Prashant Malla, the names of the six teams participating in Nepal T20 have been decided by the CAN board meeting held on Tuesday.
The T20 competition will be held from September 26 to October 25 in Kathmandu.
The meeting also thanked the current franchise leagues in Nepal for their contribution and decided not to give national recognition to any of the other leagues as the franchise leagues would be operating under their own official auspices.
