Armed Police Force (APF) club has bagged a second consecutive win in the Lalitpur Mayor Women’s Championship. Sita Rana Magar’s all-round show helped the team get better of Sudurpaschim Women by 15 runs.
In the first match of the second day of the tournament, APF posted 121/2 in the allotted 20 overs after being invited to bat first. Sita Rana Magar scored an unbeaten 52 runs (59 balls), smashing seven boundaries. She scored 45* in the previous match and is yet to be dismissed in the two matches. Indu Berma added 37-ball 45 runs.
In reply, Kabita Kunwar’s half-century was not enough for Sudurpaschim as they were restricted to 102 for 7. Kunwar made 51 (60 balls) while Kabita Joshi contributed 17-ball 26.
Suman Bista was the pick of a bowler for APF, grabbing a couple of wickets (4-0-10-2). Sita Rana Magar and Indu Berma also pocketed one wicket each.
Sita was adjudged as player of the match for her all-round performance. She received the award in the previous match also.
