Nepal U19 Women’s Team posted a record total against Kuwait U19 Women’s Team. In the fifth match of ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier Nepal piled up a mammoth 213/2 in the alloted 20 overs which is the biggest total by Nepal U19 Women’s team.
Opting to bat first, Puja Mahato’s century helped Nepal post a humongous total. Nepal were 56/2 at the end of the power play after losing Sana Praveen (6) and Sabitri Dhami (11).
Captain Puja Mahato and vice captain Sony Pakhrin then added an unbeaten 157 runs for the third wicket. Puja hammered an unbeaten 130 runs from 69 balls with the help of 17 fours. Sony Pakhrin also added 43* runs. Nepal also received 23 extra runs.
