KATHMANDU: All eyes will be on Gandaki Province and Nepal Army Club as the new season of Nepal’s domestic tournament, the Prime Minister Cup Men’s cricket tournament, starts from today in Kathmandu.
The 2021 edition of the domestic tournament will be held in Tribhuwan University Ground, Kirtipur and Mulpani Cricket Ground until January 30. All the seven provinces and three department teams will compete with each other for the 50-overs matches.
Nepal Army Club, APF Club, Gandaki Province, Province 1 and Karnali Province are placed in Group A whilst Nepal Police, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province, Province 2 and Sudurpaschim Province are in Group B.
There are 23 matches to be played in the tournament. All the matches start from 10:30 Nepal standard time.
Nepal Police club won the last edition of the tournament.
