Kathmandu/Cricnepal: Nepal has been placed in group B alongside Hong Kong, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and host United Arab Emirates for the ACC Trophy Elite that is scheduled to be held from October 1-13.
Asian Cricket Council(ACC) on Friday announced the group divisions of the event. A total of 10 nations will be participating in one of the prestigious tournament of the Asian associates and affiliates.
Defending champion Afghanistan is placed in group A along with Malaysia, Oman, Bhutan and Maldives. Nepal had lost to Afghanistan in previous edition by 95 runs in the finals.
