Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Asian Cricket Council(ACC) have announced the fixtures for the ACC U-19 Elite Cup 2013 which is scheduled to be held in UAE from 3rd of May.
10 teams from Asia fight for the trophy with the winner getting qualified for the ICC U19 World Cup 2014. UAE, as host has prequalified for the U19 World Cup. This means, if UAE finished winner, the runners up will progress to the world cup.
Nepal has been placed in Group B with Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia and Kuwait while group A compromises Afghanistan, Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
Nepal’s first match is against Kuwait at Kinrara on 3rd May while they face Qatar at Bayuemas on 5th. Nepal then play Bahrain at Bayuemas on 6th before playing their last group stage match against Malaysia at Kinrara on 8th. The semi finals will take place on 10th with the final taking place on 11th.
All the matches start at 07:45 AM Nepali Time(02:00hrs GMT).
