Kenya managed to post 130 runs for the loss of 8 wickets after the late blitz from the lower-ordered Lucas Oluoch, who quick-fired with 31 runs at the Gymkhana Club Ground on Thursday.
Kenya were struggling to put up a fighting total after being invited to bat in the overcast conditions. However, Lucas hit five boundaries and a six in his 13 ball innings at the end of the innings to manage a respectable total.
Earlier, Irfan Karim made 34 off 44 balls, and Sachin Bhudia (17) hit two massive sixes in one over off Sandeep Lamichhane.
For Nepal, Sompal Kami was the pick of the bowlers, he managed 3 for 22 in his four overs. Sandeep Lamichhane picked up two wickets but was on the expensive side today.
