Brian Charles Lara, former West Indies Captain and arguably one of the best batsman of his time tweeted once again about his eagerness to visit Nepal. “Wheels now turning to bring about my first visit to Nepal. Looking forward to meeting all cricketers. What about a Visa? Will check on that. ” read his most recent tweet about Nepal.
Lara first showed interest Nepal visit during the World Cricket League Division 3 in Bermuda that too through twitter. “Up@3am in the morning going to read a little about Nepal, going there is on my bucket list. This year #amustdo #cricketchamps,” Lara had then tweeted.
Lara was seeking for suggestion for Nepal trip when and tweeted this yesterday “My Nepalese friends what about two day visit between the first and second test match between West Indies and India? Dates 11th and 12th November.”
Lara, a left-handed batsman who is widely regarded as one of the finest batsmen of all time, holds several records including the highest individual score in a Test innings — 400 not out against England in 2004 right on the occasion of Nepalese New Year.
