The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a reward for the Nepalese U19 Women’s Cricket Team following their remarkable achievements on the international stage.
The team, which recently secured qualification for both the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and the U19 Women’s Asia Cup, will receive a prize of NPR 2,50,000 as a token of appreciation for their hard work and success. The officials and staff members who supported the team’s journey will get NPR 1,50,000.
On November 13, Nepal achieved a remarkable victory over the UAE to secure the top spot in the Asia Qualifier, earning their first-ever qualification for the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup. This success also secured them a place in the inaugural ACC U19 Women’s Asia Cup.
Their qualification marks a significant milestone in Nepal’s cricketing history, reflecting the potential and resilience of the country’s emerging players.
The young team received a grand welcome upon their arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, where a large crowd gathered to greet them.
