Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) has unveiled their squad for the Jay Trophy Men’s Elite Cup. Binod Bhandari will captain the 15-player squad in the longer-format cricket, played with a red ball and traditional white attire.
The star-studded squad features national players such as Sompal Kami, Bhim Sharki, Kushal Malla, Bibek Yadav, and Shahab Alam. However, Malla might only participate in one match as he has been signed by the Desert Vipers for the ILT20, UAE’s franchise league.
The left-arm pacer Durgesh Gupta and left-arm spinner Naren Saud are also included in the squad. Nepal’s young pace bowler Aakash Chand and in-form allrounder Bashir Ahamad are also in the team.
Army Club were the runner-up of the previous PM Cup after losing against Police Club in the final.
The top four teams from the Prime Minister’s (PM) Cup National Cricket Tournament – Nepal Police Club (NPC), Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC), Bagmati Province and Madhesh Province will compete in the Jay Trophy. The tournament starts on 5th January and the matches will be held simultaneously in Janakpur and Parsa.

- 5-6 Jan vs Police in Birgunj
- 8-9 Jan vs Bagmati in Janakpur
- 11-12 Jan vs Madhesh in Birgunj
