Nepal’s young legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been recruited in for Kowloon Cantons team in the upcoming DTC Hong Kong T20 Blitz 2016 that starts from May 27 at Tin Kwong Rd Recreation Ground.
The three day T20 tournament will have four franchised team. Rude Bar Island Warriors, Hung Hom JD Jaguars, GII Lantau Galaxy Riders & Kowloon Cantons.
Lamichhane, 16, will play under Babar Hayat, Tanveer Ahmed, Ehsan Nawaz, Tim Cutler, Ryan Campbell in the team. Scott McKechnie, a british cricketer invited the Nepalese bowler as he played against him during MCC recent visit to Nepal. He grabbed seven wickets against them.
Likewise, Lamichhane took 14 wickets during ICC U19 World Cup 2016 that includes a hattrick against Ireland.
