Kathmandu – Nepal’s young Legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane received a two-year sports scholarship from Sanima Bank amid a programme in Kathmandu.
Lamichhane, 16, was provided with NRs.20000 per month scholarship with the initiation from Cricket Players Association of Nepal (CPAN). Sanima Chief Executive Officer Bhuwan Dahal and Lamichhane signed an agreement.
Sandeep Lamichhane was part of Nepal U19 team that played ICC U19 World Cup 2016 in Bangladesh. He got a hattrick against Ireland U19 and was one of the find for Nepal team as well.
He was also part of the Senior side which played against Namibia for ICC World Cricket League Championship in Kathmandu.
