Joshua Little grabs the second hattrick in the ongoing ICC T20I World Cup 2022. Little took a hattrick against New Zealand in the nineteenth over to become the second Irish bowler to bag a World Cup hattrick.
Little dismissed Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson in the second ball and followed that up with two LBWs against Neesham and Santner. After the hattrick, Little also surpassed Nepal’s suspended skipper Sandeep Lamichhane in the list of most T20I wicket-taker in a calendar year. Lamichhane had 38 wickets to his name while Little now has 39.
The 23-year-old already has 11 wickets to his name in T20I World Cup 2022.
Last year Curtis Campher bagged a hattrick for Ireland in T20I World Cup 2021.
