Kathmandu – Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the date for the much awaited South African practice tour for the preparation of upcoming ICC World Cricket League Division 2 to be held in Namibia from January 17.
“Nepal Senior Cricket Team along with Coach Pubudu Dassanayake will travel to SA on 7 January”, Chhumbi Lama, Chief Operation Officer of CAN said.
“Amrit Bhattarai and other official will travel after two days”, he added further.
Earlier, Nepalese team were scheduled to travel on January 3 but due to visa issues it has been shifted to Jan 7. Similarly, Nepal will play three 50-overs practice matches on 9, 11 and 12 against Benoni Northerns Cricket Club. The team will spend 10 days in South Africa.
