Peter Trego has been announced as the head coach of the Lumbini All-Stars for the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League. Stars recently unveiled their Jersey and Slogan as well.
Trego is considered as one of the greatest players in English domestic cricket. He is remembered as one of the best players of his era not to represent England. The 41-year-old has 9644 runs along with 395 wickets in First Class Cricket. Moreover, the all-rounder has 5057 runs and 173 wickets in List A.
Trego left Somerset in 2019 after doing a lot for the team for nearly two decades. After a couple of years at Nottinghamshire, He announced his retirement in 2021 summer.

Trego is a bit familiar with Nepal Cricket having played for Expert Dhangadhi Blues in the inaugural edition of Pokhara Premier League (PPL).
Lumbini will be facing Far West United in the second match on Tournament’s first day.
