Kathmandu – Nepal Police has honored the National Cricket Team for their spirited performance at World T20 in Bangladesh. In the program organized at Nepal Police Club Bhirkutimandap the Inspector General of Police(IGP) Upendra Kant Aryal honored the players, coaches and CAN members with gifts.
Prior to the formal program the national team was taken around in a police parade like fashion with drums and music from Dasharat Rangashala to Nepal Police Club.
In the program Nepal skipper Paras Khadka pointed out that Nepali Cricket and entire Nepali Sports have potential to do good at international stage. In a reply like answer IGP Aryal said the Nepal Police had always been working for development of sport.
Nepal Police was once part of Nepal’s domestic Cricket Tournament alongside APF.
