Kathmandu – Nepal Cricket team earned the much important four points after defeating Namibia at home to move to Number 5 in the points table of ICC World Cricket league Championship 2015-2017.
Previously, Nepal were placed at bottom of the table, after the completion of two rounds in the championship.
After the two thumping wins against Namibia, Nepal has moved to Number 5 position with 2 wins and 4 loses and the net run rate is -0.141. Netherlands is sitting at top with 4 wins whereas Namibia, PNG and UAE are placed after Nepal.
Nepal will play next against Netherlands, the date has not been decided yet. The championship is being organised for two years between 2015-2017 among 8 nations and played in home and away matches.
