Nepal has made a significant jump to the 14th position in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, released on Wednesday. Nepal’s position was improved after the Netherlands suffered a couple of losses against South Africa.
Nepal’s rise in the rankings is a reflection of the team’s recent performances, which have been impressive. The country’s cricket team has been on a winning streak in recent matches and has managed to secure some notable victories.
The Netherlands, which previously held the 14th position in the rankings, fell to 16th place after the two losses against South Africa. This has paved the way for Nepal to make a significant move up the rankings.
Only Scotland (12th position) is the better associate team in the ODI ranking. Oman and Netherlands are in 15th and 16th position respectively. Australia are at the top of the ODI ranking, followed by New Zealand and India.
