Cricket Association of Blind Nepal(CABN is all set to organise the fifth National Blind Cricket Tournament from 2nd to 6th of Falgun.
The six day tournament features five teams from all over Nepal including defending champion Lumbini,Banke,Nepal Army,Kanchanpur and Kaski. All the matches will be played on Engennering Ground,Pulchowk.
The teams are divided into two group of three teams each. Top two from each group qualifies for the Semifinal .The league games and the semifinal will be played under 20 over format whereas the final will be a 40 over game.
The 5th edition of the tournament is being organised under the financial aid of Ministry of Sports.CAB Nepal will select players for Blind Cricket World Cup based on the perform ace of players in this tournament. The upcoming one day” Blind Cricket World Cup” is scheduled to begin from 30th November to 17th December in Cape Town, South Africa. Nepal has already qualified for the event.
