The Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) has announced the nominations for four categories in the Pulsar Sports Awards 2080. Cricket stands out with the highest number of individual nominations.
The Forum has announced the nominations of five individuals in each of the four categories: Best Male, Female, Youth, and Coach of the Year. Five individuals from cricket have been nominated, the highest number from any sport.
Captain Rohit Paudel and DS Airee have been nominated for Best Male Player. Former women’s captain Rubina Chetri is in the running for Best Female Player, while Arjun Kumal has earned a nomination for Best Youth Player. Additionally, men’s cricket coach Monty Desai is nominated for Best Coach. Similarly, Gulshan Jha is already in the nominated list of people’s choice award.
The winners in each category will be announced during the program on September 13. The Best Male, Female, Youth, and Coach will each receive a Pulsar NS 200, while the People’s Choice Award winner will be awarded a Pulsar NS 400 motorcycle.
