Kathmandu – Cricket Association of Nepal has announced a 14 member squad for the upcoming ICC World Cricket League Division 3 to be held in Malaysia from 23 to 30 October in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to the press release published by CAN today, the 14 members are Paras Khadka (C), Gyanendra Malla (Vice-Captain), Subash Khakurel (WK/Batsman), Sharad Vesawkar (Batsman), Shakti Prasad Gauchan (Bowler), Basant Regmi (Bowler), Binod Bhandari (Batsman), Sompal Kami (Bowler), Sagar Pun (All Rounder), Mahboob Alam (All Rounder), Bhuvan Karki(Bowler), Md. Aarif Sheikh (All Rounder), Naresh Bahadur Budhayair (Batsman) & Amrit Bhattarai (Bowler).
Off Spinner Rahul Viswakarma, Anil Mandal and Ram Naresh Giri and Region 8’s pacer Karan KC didn’t make the final squad.
The six teams competing in the event are Bermuda, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Uganda and the USA.
