Kathmandu – Nepalese National Team returned home today after the completion of Asian Cricket Council Premier League held in Malaysia.
The team arrived at 11:30 AM at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Sanjib Pandey, Member of Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) was only the representative from CAN.
“Nepal played good cricket in the tournament and we are quite happy with the performance”, Paras Khadka, Skipper of Nepali Cricket said. “Every single players whoever got chance, they played according to their potential and proved it”, he further added. Nepal won three matches against U.A.E, Malaysia and Hong Kong where as lost two against Oman and arch-rivals Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Coach Pubudu Dassanayake didn’t interact with the Media and instead returned to Hotel. The players will be busy in a month long Nepal Premier League which will start from Mid-May.
