The Nepal U19 team will play a series against the Delhi U19 team. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced the three-match series schedule on social media today.
The series, organized as part of Nepal’s preparations for the crucial ICC U19 World Cup qualifiers, will be held at Narayani Cricket Ground in Birgunj.
- Match 1: March 25, 9:30 AM
- Match 2: March 27, 9:30 AM
- Match 3: March 29, 9:30 AM
This series will be a key test for Nepal’s young cricketers, giving them valuable match experience before they compete in the U19 Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifier.
Following the matches against Delhi U19, Nepal U19 will also take on Afghanistan U19 in another three-match series. The two teams will compete in a three-match series as part of their tournament preparations. These matches will help the team improve their strategies and understand their strengths before the World Cup Qualifiers.
Nepal’s U19 team has been training hard under the guidance of the head coach Shakti Gauchan to compete at the highest level. They have been in a closed training camp for a long time.
A few days ago Nepal announced a strong 18-player squad under the leadership of Naren Bhatt.
