The Nepalese U19 team has been bowled out for a mere total of 52 runs against India in the last group-stage match of the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023.
Invited to bat first at ICC Academy Ground No. 2, Dubai, the Nepalese team had no answers against Indian pacers in the morning condition. No Nepalese batter were unable to cross a double-digit score as Nepal was bowled out in just 22.1 overs.
Extras conceded by Indian bowlers (13) was the highest runs scored in the first innings. Number 10 batter, Hemant Dhami scored eight runs whereas Dipak Bohara and Arjun Kumal were also dismissed for seven runs. Dev Khanal and Gulshan Jha could score only 2 and 4 runs respectively.
Raj Limbani was the standout bowler for India, He picked up seven wickets conceding just 13 runs from 9.1 overs. He was superb with the swing and pace. Aaradhya Shukla picked up two wickets whilst Arshin Kulkarni grabbed one.
