Kathmandu – Nepal is set to face Netherlands in the 1st play-off match to be held in January 26 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014.
Earlier Kenya defeated Netherlands by 4 wickets with 86 balls remaining at Lincoln to secure third place in the Group B.
Having Lost all the Group Matches, Nepal will have a tough fixture against Netherlands in Sunday. Netherlands won two and lost two matches in the group stage.
The winner from the match will play the 7th place play-off against the winner of Playoff 2 – Canada vs Uganda at Bay Oval No2, Mount Maunganue in Tuesday, January 28 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
