Nepal’s star allrounder Kushal Malla has been Signed by Desert Vipers, a team in the International League T20 (ILT20), which serves as the official franchise league in the UAE under the administration of the Emirates Cricket Board.
The Desert Vipers announced the signing of a Nepalese all-rounder on social media, expressing confidence that his aggressive batting style and left-arm spin will significantly contribute to the team’s success.

Malla is set to become the third Nepalese player to feature in the ILT20. Previously, Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee participated in the league. Lamichhane represented the Desert Vipers in the inaugural season, while Airee played for the Gulf Giants last season and has been retained by the team.
The allrounder will join star players such as Lockie Ferguson, Mohammad Aamir, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Alex Hales in the team.
Malla captained Chitwan in the Nepal Premier League, delivering an impressive all-round performance that guided his team to the playoffs.
The ILT20 2025 will kick off on 11 January with the final match scheduled for February 9.
