The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has bid farewell to the Nepalese U19 team for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024. The 50-over tournament is scheduled to play in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 29 to December 8.
Hemant Dhami will lead the strong 15-player squad in the tournament. Shakti Gauchan is the head coach while Dhirendra Chand is the assistant coach.
Nepal is in Group B alongside Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Similarly, India, Pakistan, Japan and UAE are in Group A.
Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup, being the champion of previous qualification tournament (ACC U19 Premier Cup).
The Nepalese side played five-match series with Karnataka U19 in Kathmandu as a preparatory series where they emerged victorious 3-2.

December 1 – vs Bangladesh
December 3 – vs Afghanistan
