Kathmandu – Nepal’s middle order batsman Sharad Vesawkar will miss out the upcoming Sri Lanka tour due to his illness.
Vesawkar, 26 didn’t play his later matches due to illness during the recently concluded ICC World Cricket League Division 3 held in Malaysia.
Nepalese cricket team will travel to Sri Lanka on friday to play two three-day matches against Sri Lanka XI and three Twenty20 International matches against Hong Kong along with a single one day. Vesawkar and Aarif Sheikh will not travel with the team whereas Karan KC, Mahesh Chhetry, Rajesh Pulami, Jitendra Mukhiya and Pradeep Airee will get a chance to play.
Nepal will play first three day match against Sri Lanka XI at Kurunegala from November 9.
