Nepal’s first practice match in Sri Lanka has been called off due to unfavourable weather. The Nepalese team is currently on a Sri Lanka tour for a three-match One Day series against Sri Lanka Development Squad as a preparatory series for the CWC League 2 series.
Unfortunately, Nepal’s first game of the series was washed out due to rain. The match was scheduled to begin at 10:15 AM NST, but the weather had the final say, leading to the match being called off.
The second game is set to be played tomorrow, September 4th. After a rest day, the final match will take place on September 6th.
Nepal is scheduled to tour Canada after a week for the second CWC League 2 Tri-series, where they will compete against Oman and Canada. In the opening series held on home ground in February, Nepal faced three defeats and secured only one win against Netherlands and Namibia.
