The registration for players to participate in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) auction is now open. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced this via a press release on Saturday.
Players interested in participating in the auction can register online in either Category A, B, or C. The base price for Category A is set at 10 lakh NRS, with a maximum limit of 15 lakh NRS. If bidding reaches the maximum price, the player will be assigned to a team through a lucky draw.
The base price for Category B is set at 5 lakh NRS, with a maximum limit of 10 lakh NRS. Similarly, Category C has a base price of 2 lakh NRS, which can go up to 5 lakh NRS. If the bidding reaches the maximum limit, a lucky draw will determine the player’s team. Meanwhile, the foreign players will be signed via the draft.
